Partner characterization

The WIFI International Know-how Transfer (WIFI IKT) team is part of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and conducts seminars and management training schemes around the world. As an additional benefit, graduates are offered a platform for making business contacts with Austrian firms ("Business forum"). Since 1990 WIFI IKT has been offering education and training seminars to countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and their successor states as well as to other specially chosen target markets.

Franchise branch offices in Poland and Serbia are the start of a Network that will ultimately incorporate branch offices in all neighbouring countries.
The task of the International Know-how Transfer (IKT) team is to export the educational products of the Austrian WIFI Network. We aim to promote the development of people, businesses and institutions in other, especially neighbouring countries, by providing a comprehensive and customized programme of courses. Our commitment to strengthening civil society is designed to help to create a stable environment for the activities of Austrian companies, even in difficult markets.

WIFI IKT continually participates in EU projects with emphasis on personal development, professional further education and institution building. Together with international partners, we organise projects from numerous programs (amongst others Phare, Tacis, Meda, CARDS, Leonardo and Sokrates as well as Interreg).
