Partner characterization
ICPE is an intergovernmental organisation with developing countries and transitional economies as its members. The host country, Slovenia (representatives of its government) presides over the ICPE international Council, which is its governing body. ICPE works in collaboration with international organisations and has concluded MOUs with several of them, e.g. UNIDO, UNESCO, IOI, etc. It has been chosen as a partner institution of Praxy.net, the EU network of training and SME development institutions.
ICPE has been involved in international research and training projects related to enterprise development and entrepreneurship including women entrepreneurs, training for self-employment as well as training in the areas of production management in wood-processing, tanning / leather industries, financing of SMEs, franchising, sustainable regional development and in other areas.
