Partner characterization
The iTAB (Institut für Technik, Arbeitsprozesse und berufliche Bildung / Institute of Technology, Work Processes and Vocational Eduation) is an institute at the Hamburg University of Technology - focusing on scientific research in the field of vocational education for industrial-technical professions. Next to this research they provide higher education for prospective vocational teachers.
The main topic of research is the interdependence of technology, work and education. One exploratory focus is the Working Process-Orientation. Prof. Dr. Sönke Knutzen developed a methodical model for working process-oriented training. This model provides a basis for the development of the WPO-curriculum.
